My favorite anytime green smoothie! It's refreshing for breakfast or lunch, great on the go, or even a super nourishing and rejuvenating post workout recovery drink.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup ice
1/2 banana
1/4 avocado (I use frozen Avocado Chunks from Costco!)
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1-1.5 cups kale
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Biotics Research)
1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (optional)
Topping (optional): here I used Autumn's Gold Grain-Free Granola
Instructions:
Blend everything together well, top with granola if you prefer, and enjoy! I find that placing the ingredients in the blender in this order helps a little: ice, protein powder, collagen peptides, avocado, banana, greens, almond milk. I hope you love it!
