I found this method on EmpoweredSustenance.com and it has seriously changed my life!! I have a couple spaghetti squash recipes and just cooking the squash was so tedious because I could never figure out how to get it just right.
Well I truly believe this is a fail-proof method. Let me know what you think once you try it out!
Here's what you do:
First and foremost - pick the right size spaghetti squash! I think a medium size spaghetti squash is perfect for 4-6 servings and this method.
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Cut off the two tips of the spaghetti squash so that those two pieces will lay flat when baking.
Then, cut the spaghetti squash into 4 pieces (about 1 to 1.5 inch rounds). I think it's easiest cutting off the two side pieces and then the middle ones.
Scoop out the seeds and discard.
Place upright on a baking sheet and cook for about 1 hour, or until the strands are tender.
Finally, using a fork, pull the strands into the center of each round to make the spaghetti strands and you're done! Enjoy :)
