Cinnamon Apple Skillet

My group class, The Restart Program, includes a 3-week sugar detox and this dessert really helps myself and a lot of the other participants get through it! It doesn't taste sugar-free whatsoever and feels like your eating the inside of an apple pie - not to mention it takes only 10 minutes to whip up start to finish. I can't wait for you to try it!



  • Heat a skillet on medium heat and add in the cooking oil ~30 seconds before putting in the apples.

  • Slice the apples and mix with sea salt and cinnamon.

  • Sauté for a couple minutes or until they are softened. Set aside.

  • In a separate pot, melt the coconut butter until it reaches a smooth and consistent consistency similar to "icing" and drizzle over the apples. Enjoy!
