Garlic Beef & Broccoli

Prep Time: 5-7 minutes | Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes | Yield: 4 servings

This recipe is inspired by Mickey Trescott's The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook! It is both AIP & Sugar Detox approved, but most importantly, SO delicious.

It didn't take too long to make and is great for steak-cooking beginners - if that's a thing :) It definitely was for me! I hope you enjoy it :)

  • 2 pounds grass-fed beef steaks, cut into 1/4 inch-thick slices

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1.5-inch piece ginger, peeled and minced

  • 1 bunch broccoli, chopped

  • 2 T. organic bone broth

  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos

  • 1 T. lemon juice

  • 1/4 t. sea salt

  • Avocado oil spray or equivalent

  1. Heat up a cast iron skillet or wok on med-high heat and spray with the avocado oil spray.

  2. When the skillet is hot, saute the steak slices, stirring 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. Lower the heat to medium and add the garlic and ginger, stirring for about 1 minute. Add the broccoli and cook for a few few minutes, until lightly browned. Add the bone broth, cover, and reduce the heat to med-low. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender.

  4. Add the coconut aminos, lemon juice, salt, and beef slices back to the pan and saute, tossing to combine, for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Pair with cauliflower fried rice or brown rice. Enjoy!
